Mother of Dragons is an expansion for A Game of Thrones: The Board Game (Second Edition). It opens the map toward Essos and brings the houses Targaryen and Arryn into play. You need the second-edition base game to use it.

What does the expansion add?

The box widens the fight for the Iron Throne with new ground and new players:

• A sideboard featuring the Free Cities of Essos
• An overlay for the Eyrie
• New characters and mechanisms for House Targaryen and House Arryn
• A new vassal mechanic to pull other houses onto your side

The Iron Bank of Braavos

When your own power falls short, you can ask the Iron Bank for help. But take care: the bank will have its due. If your campaign turns out to be a poor investment, the moneylenders' retribution comes fast.
