Players are given a job at the company Crazy & Co., where positions frequently change. Suddenly, a junior employee might find themselves in charge, while the last one remaining on the cards ends up with the dirty work as the dishwasher.

Since 2022 the classic has been published by HeidelBÄR Games in a revised edition called Animal Poker: with all-new illustrations, dog, rabbit and octopus now compete for the boss's chair at Animal Inc. — the gameplay itself is unchanged. The original Career Poker edition is out of print.
