Players craft potions in a secret marketplace. They must hide ingredients to outsmart opponents and use magical powers to mix potions, all while being wary of their rivals' plans. The game is played on a 4x4 grid, where players score points by arranging three potions of the same color in a row, with the first to achieve this winning the game.

During each turn, players take 2 of 4 possible actions: reveal a secret potion, stock up on potions, activate their powers, or hire new apothecaries. Deduction is key, as players set traps for each other through clever movements and bluffs, making every move a strategic choice. The game's dynamics change with the number of players, offering varying levels of cerebral control and chaos.
