Players live in the time of the Pharaohs, using ox carts to transport resources to build villages and grand temples inspired by ancient Egyptian architecture. Caution is needed, as the robber can disrupt production in pastures, papyrus groves, and quarries. Once familiar with the base game, players can explore new variants like divine assistance with god cards and the option to build papyrus boats on the Nile to earn the Pharaoh's blessing.
