Confusing Lands*

Confusing Lands is a quick card game for exactly two players where each builds their own wacky floating landscape.

What's it about?

You play cards full of symbols and scoring conditions. Out of them grow mountains, rivers and the occasional cute little deer. The goal is the best confusing landscape, which simply means the most points.

How it plays

  1. Take turns playing one card.
  2. Overlap cards partly to use their symbols well.
  3. Stop after each player has laid eight cards.
  4. Score the shared condition plus your own ones.

A game lasts only about ten minutes. The rules are light, yet the choices still bite.

Who is it for?

  • Couples and duos after a short closer
  • Fans of patterns and clever card play
  • Newcomers who enjoy a fast head-to-head

Conclusion

Confusing Lands is a charming little duel with strong replay value. If you want deep strategy, look elsewhere.
