Dakota is a game designed for three to five players aged 10 and up, lasting 60 to 90 minutes. Inspired by the conquest of the American West, players control either a group of settlers or a tribe of natives, cooperating and competing for natural resources that hold different values for each player type. The mechanics enable an unequal number of settlers and natives.
