Players take on the role of wizards competing to herd dragons. Two decks form the "spellbook," indicating which dragons can be herded. As cards are drawn, the situation shifts, and players can cast spells to modify the spellbook in their favor, but they must choose wisely which dragons to sacrifice for their spells.
