Players must carefully choose their route, watch for marmot burrows, and pack enough snacks, as earning a coveted edelweiss track pin becomes challenging when sitting hungry in the snow.

This game serves as the grand finale of Uwe Rosenberg's puzzle trilogy, following Cottage Garden and Indian Summer. It combines familiar elements in innovative ways, with a complexity level between the previous games. Players strategically place meadow tiles on their mountain board to earn additional tiles and must navigate the constraints of marmot burrows while aiming for the largest meadow to gain points.
