Players take on the role of a Nomarch in ancient Egypt, responsible for managing a metropolis and its surrounding region. As the Nile's flooding ends, they must organize resource collection, build lucrative districts, and supply them to earn the most wealth for the Pharaoh. The game is a straightforward resource management experience, requiring players to make strategic decisions about how to utilize their resources effectively while ensuring none are wasted. Each turn consists of three simple steps: collecting resources, using them to build new districts, and restocking stores. The game lasts for nine rounds, and the player with the most wealth at the end wins.
