Feurio!^*

Feurio! is a tactical game from Edition Erlkönig in which you bring a spreading forest fire under control.

How It Works

You deploy firefighters across the forest and chase two goals at once:

1. put out the most dangerous blazes to score points,
2. hold at least one water source, since it sets how your points are counted.

The Fire

The fire shrinks the spaces you can stand on and wipes out water sources. Its spread follows the current situation, so a careful eye can predict it well. The result is a very territorial game full of blockades and chases.

Conclusion

Feurio! rewards positioning and good timing. A solitaire and a cooperative variant widen its use. If you like tactical area control, you get a demanding, original game.
