Players build statues on the slopes of a volcano to honor their gods. The higher the statues are built, the more points are scored, but the risk of destruction from a volcanic eruption increases as they approach the crater. By placing numbered chips on the beach, players can move a ship and trigger scoring in different sectors, allowing them to acquire cards necessary for building statues and influencing the lava's direction when the volcano erupts.
