Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons^*

Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons is a cooperative game in which you team up against four classic monsters from the D&D world. As in the Horrified series, you gather item tokens, protect citizens, and avoid attacks, while each monster brings its own thematic challenges. New here is the use of a twenty-sided die that introduces elements of the role-playing game.

For 1-5 players ages 10+, about 45-60 minutes, best with four; it also plays solo. Each player takes one of five heroes based on D&D classes - wizard, rogue, fighter, cleric, or bard - each with unique abilities, and moves around the board to defeat the monsters in the dungeon below Waterdeep. A good fit for families and anyone who enjoys cooperative monster-hunting with manageable rules depth.
