Katamino^*

The game consists of 12 different shapes made up of right-angled blocks, each composed of 5 squares, reminiscent of Tetris but with five squares instead of four. A previous version had only 10 pieces, excluding the straight 5-square and the 5-square "plus" shapes. Players take turns placing a piece on a square board divided into 64 smaller squares. The first player unable to place a piece loses, similar to Blokus. In a two-player puzzle variation, the board is split in half; each player selects five blocks and additional smaller "filler blocks." The winner is the first to fit all their blocks perfectly in their half of the rectangular board.
