Nemesis: Carnomorphs*

Everything started because of a single cat. During our rendezvous with the science ship Adrastea orbiting protoplanet DB-198, the cat came aboard. Shortly after sampling DB-198, we jumped back, and all were secured in their stasis pods, except for the cat, which tragically turned into a projectile upon acceleration.

A strange parasitic form of XNA was hidden in the damaged samples. This virus restructured the cat's remains and began to search our supplies, eventually finding us trapped in our pods. Chaos ensued as we battled these creatures, who only grew stronger as we lost more crew members. The remaining survivors aim to destroy the ship, but a grotesque amalgamation of the cat blocks their path to the control room.
