Paper Tales: Beyond the Gates*

Kingdoms, blinded by their quest for power, gradually break the barriers of forbidden knowledge. Necromancers and alchemists dig deeper each day into the gates of the underworld, risking the awakening of something beyond their imagination.

The expansion adds twenty new units and six new buildings that maintain the balance of the base game while enhancing its possibilities and replay value. Players start with seven out of a total of eleven buildings, which change in each game, introducing new strategies and impacts from the new units. It also includes components to support up to seven players and features a solo mode where one player must face the powerful armies of the Lich King, accompanied by special Necropolis and Lich King cards.
