The game board consists of a central area and four extensions, each five spaces long, featuring desert or oasis parts. Players explore the board with caravans, aiming to create rich and fertile oases by placing tiles drawn from a supply. By placing these tiles, players can establish oases and pay to place explorer figures on them, striving to become the most powerful explorer.
