Res Arcana Duo^*

Res Arcana Duo is a standalone two-player version of the engine-building card game Res Arcana that can later be combined with the base game and its expansions. As a mage you gather essences, craft artifacts, and use them to summon dragons or claim places of power on the way to victory. Anyone who enjoys tight, tactical card games with a clear engine will find a focused duel with a short playtime here.

The version introduces a new drafting method designed specifically for two players and a lean set of 16 artifacts; unlike the base game, it deliberately has no attacks. A game typically lasts 4 to 6 rounds in which you collect essences and take one action per turn until someone reaches 10 victory points.
