Splendor Kids is the child-friendly take on the gem-collecting classic for 2 to 4 players aged 6 and up who want to learn collecting and planning.
What's it about?
You play travelers who deliver food across the kingdom. Instead of gems you gather food chips and use them to move along the paths. The first player to reach the Palace of Splendor earns the Queen's Medal.
How it plays
On your turn you pick one of two actions.
- Collect chips: three different, two of a kind, or one joker.
- Move forward and pay the path in chips.
Some spaces hand you new food or grant an extra turn.
Who is it for?
A game runs about half an hour and keeps young minds busy without overwhelming them. Double-sided kingdom boards and city tiles keep things fresh.
