Tarot*

Not to be confused with divinatory tarot, the game of tarot likely originates from Italy. It is played with a deck of 78 cards: 56 suited cards and 22 trumps, along with a Fool card.

In the most popular version, known as French Tarot in many English-speaking countries, one player becomes the taker and plays against the others, aiming to achieve a specific score to fulfill their contract. The opposing players work together to prevent the taker from reaching their score, placing bids in turn based on their confidence in achieving the required points.
