Tempus*
The game includes twelve hexagonal tiles surrounded by six hexagons. Each player chooses a color for their pieces and places a corresponding era die on the starting box of the progress track. Players take turns placing their pieces on the board, noting which terrains will be valuable at the end of the era for scoring progress points.
At the end of each era, progress points are calculated based on occupied scoring fields, city tiles, and relevant idea cards. Players can move pieces, increase their population, engage in combat, draw idea cards, or build cities. The game concludes after ten eras, with the winner determined by the total of non-mountain hexagons occupied, city values, and bonus points for advancing to the last era.
