The Captain Is Dead: Dangerous Planet*

The fearless crew has escaped from the alien prison in lockdown and is now on their first outer mission with a new captain. They are sent to an abandoned alien planet to find relics that may explain the alien empire's hatred for the fleet and how peace might be achieved. However, when the captain attempts to communicate with giant bugs, he loses his head, leaving the crew to explore tunnels and gather artifacts while defending themselves from swarming insects.

The game introduces new exploration and territory defense mechanics, pushing players to survive long enough to collect necessary relics amidst frequent bug attacks. The modular tunnel system offers a variety of challenges.
