The Dwarves*

Based on the first novel of the "Dwarves" tetralogy by Markus Heitz, players work together to prevent evil from overwhelming Girdlegard. Each player chooses a dwarf from the book, each with unique abilities and different combat, crafting, and movement values.

As players take turns, the forces of evil typically breach one of four major gates, pushing the corrupted lands forward. Players can engage in combat with advancing enemies, travel to other locations, lobby the dwarf council for advantages, complete side quests for rewards, or undertake the current main quest, which is essential for winning the game. Failure to contain the evil and address the main quests in time results in defeat.
