The Lord of the Rings Tarot Deck and Card Game*

Players start as Free Peoples of Middle-earth on a journey to Mount Doom, hoping to destroy the One Ring and prevent it from falling into Sauron's evil hands. They play cards from their hand to a journey stack, and the round ends when a player runs out of cards. Throughout the journey, players may be influenced by the powers of Middle-earth, with some potentially succumbing to dark forces. Victory points are earned for bravery and commitment to either Gandalf or Sauron, and the player with the most points at the end of three rounds—each representing a book from Tolkien's trilogy—wins the game.
