In 1637, the tulip frenzy sparked one of the first speculative investment bubbles, with prized tulip varieties fetching prices that exceeded houses in Amsterdam. Players buy and sell on a volatile market in an attempt to earn the most guilders, navigating through recurring preparation, buying, and selling phases until the bubble bursts or someone manages to outsmart the markets by purchasing a black tulip for 120 guilders before the collapse occurs.
