Video Vortex*

Video Vortex is a competitive deck-building game for 2 to 4 players set in a radioactive future inhabited by video-obsessed mutants. Each genre-loving character strategically uses their unique mutant powers to battle opponents and navigate game effects to gain control over the wasteland. Players spend energy to play special cards, expand their decks with rental cards from the local video store, and discard selected cards to weaken their enemies. The runtime, a measure of mutant health, is limited and unique to each character. By extending an opponent's runtime through attacks, mutants collect "Be Kind" tokens as trophies, and once three trophies are gathered, the reigning champion declares victory.
