At the beginning of the 20th century, players compete to build efficient rail networks for freight transport in Germany. Borrowing money is common, but players must be cautious not to take on more debt than necessary for bidding on train orders, laying tracks, and transporting goods. At the end of each round, dividends on the bonds are due, and failure to pay results in losing some of their hard-earned money.
