Wettstreit der Baumeister*

Jean du Poël launched this game for about a year before it was renamed "Wettstreit der Baumeister" in 1998. Players bid on building tiles each turn, with half of the income going to the auctioneer. The game includes an array of large, thick pieces representing cities and requires players to build while adhering to specific rules regarding types of buildings and their placement. The game ends when one of the two card stacks is exhausted, and cities are scored based on their symmetry.
