2 erste Spiele*
2 erste Spiele ("two first games") from Ravensburger bundles two short colour-dice games for kids aged 3 and up, both set on a playground.
What is it about?
The die shows colours instead of numbers. That means even kids who cannot count yet can join in. The small box is part of Ravensburger's Mini series, so it travels well. Up to four children can play.
Game 1: Sandbox collecting
Players collect sandbox toys in five colours. Whoever gathers all five colours first wins. It is a simple way to practise colours and the idea of completing a set.
Game 2: Race to the tower
- Roll the colour die.
- Move your piece to the next step of that colour.
- A ladder lets you climb ahead.
- A slide sends you back down.
The first player to reach the tower wins. Parents will recognise the classic snakes-and-ladders idea.
What kids practise
- Recognising and naming colours
- Waiting for their turn
- Winning and losing without a long, frustrating game
Conclusion
2 erste Spiele is not meant for grown-ups, and it does not pretend to be. For three-year-olds it is a gentle start with clear rules and quick rounds. Older children will outgrow it fast.
