BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat is the entry-level tabletop into the Mech universe: two players send giant war robots at each other until only one is left standing.

What is it about?

Each player controls one or more BattleMechs, the huge walking war machines. You fight until the enemy is destroyed or the scenario goal is met. The 2019 box replaced the old intro set and ships eight Mech miniatures cast at a much higher quality than before.

How it plays

1. Set up your Mechs and pick a scenario.
2. Move across the hex map and hunt for good firing lines.
3. Roll dice to shoot and track hits and heat on your sheet.
4. Keep going until a Mech drops or the objective falls.

Who is it for?

For two players aged 12 and up who enjoy tactical combat. The weight of 3.8 tells you this is not a light game. A match runs about two hours.
