Confusion: Espionage and Deception in the Cold War*
Players engage in a strategic two-player abstract game that emphasizes deduction. Initially, neither player knows how their own pieces move. They must figure out their movement while striving to capture a neutral piece and bring it to the opponent's side of the board.
In the context of espionage during the Cold War, players are tasked with gathering secret information to ensure their country's dominance. Each player is unaware of their own spies' abilities, while the opponent has full knowledge. The objective is to deduce how each spy operates and strategically use them to either secure classified documents or sabotage the opponent's efforts, all while navigating the threat of a double agent within their ranks.
