Days of Ire: Budapest 1956*
The year is 1956, and protests in Poland reveal cracks in the Eastern European communist block. Encouraged by these signs, students and intellectuals in Budapest organize an unprecedented protest. When the communist leadership intervenes, violence erupts, triggering the revolution on October 23.
One player commands the Soviet forces, manipulating headlines and deploying state security militias to suppress the revolutionaries. The other players cooperate as revolutionary leaders, gathering resources and recruiting fighters to ensure the revolution's success while defending against Soviet tanks and soldiers in an exciting, historically inspired card game. Players manage their positions and strategize as a team, all while keeping morale high and avoiding running out of cards. If revolutionary leaders take too much damage or fail to resolve enough events, the revolution falters, but if they hold the streets, the fight continues.
