Deadly Dinner: Tödliches Klassentreffen ("Deadly Class Reunion") is a murder mystery dinner game for 7 to 11 players aged 16 and up. At a reunion twenty years after graduation, someone is killed, and everyone at the table is a suspect. Expect an evening of three to four hours.
What is it about?
The reunion was meant to be a night of nostalgia. Instead, René Keller is found murdered. Even back in school, this quiet top student knew more about his classmates than they liked. Did he remember things that should have stayed buried?
How it works
You share a meal, a full dinner or just snacks, while each of you plays a suspect. One of you is the killer. But everyone has secrets they would rather keep.
- Each player gets their character's starting information a few days ahead.
- The evening runs over three rounds.
- Every round reveals new secret information about the crime.
- You discuss clues and statements as a group.
- At the end, you name the culprit.
What to expect
- Role-play with clear goals: solve the murder or get away with it
- Plenty to talk about thanks to personal secrets
- A relatable setting almost anyone can step into
Who is it for?
Hosts planning a special night with friends or family. If you enjoy acting a part and piecing clues together, you will feel at home. Note that this edition is published in German.
Conclusion
Tödliches Klassentreffen offers a familiar setting packed with reasons for suspicion. The preparation is worth it. With its fixed player count, though, it does not suit spontaneous game nights with a small group.
