Five Cucumbers is a trick-taking game where the goal is to avoid winning the last trick. Players can either win a trick by playing a card of equal or higher value or must play their lowest card. The player who wins the last trick ends up with cucumbers, and those who collect more than five are eliminated from the game, leading to a showdown between the final two players.
