Prominent national horse breeders meet once a year at the international horse auction to expand their breeding business. They aim to build the most successful stud farm by purchasing the best thoroughbreds.

Each player has an identical set of money cards to bid on market cards, which display different quantities of horses from five breeds. Players can claim two of these breeds at any time during the game, but only two players may claim each breed.
