The year is 2020, and the world teeters on the brink of destruction. After a devastating orbital attack, the alien race known as Hydra has besieged the planet, aiming to exterminate the last survivors of their old enemies, the Ghin. In this standalone, semi-cooperative global strategy game, players manage Earth's desperate coalitions to counter the relentless invasion while also dealing with threats like hysteria and famine, all while hoping to help Dr. Cronos develop advanced weapons to defeat the invaders.
