Limes*
Two thousand years ago, life continued at the edges of the Roman Empire as expected. However, beyond the border, barbarians lurked, forcing players to cultivate grain, fish, chop wood, and maintain watchtowers to guard against fires and barbarian attacks.
Players have their own deck of cards, randomly drawing and placing them on the table, with the option to place one of their figures on the card. The game ends when a player has placed 16 cards on a 4x4 grid, scoring points based on connected grain fields, adjacent homes to lakes, visibility of forests from watchtowers, and areas where wood can be delivered. The player with the most points wins, with ties broken in favor of the player with the highest score with a single figure.
