Mea Culpa*

When a coin jingles in the box, a soul escapes purgatory. Players engage in a game centered on sins and sinners, navigating through brothels and markets alongside figures like the Pope or the Emperor. The goal is to collect indulgences, allowing players' "poor souls" to inch closer to the gates of heaven, even as they appear to head toward hell throughout the game.

Players assume various roles that grant access to special actions and must strategically sin to balance their progress. The winner is the one who collects the most valuable indulgences while managing their sins wisely. However, accumulating too many sins can jeopardize their chances of winning.
