Raid on St. Nazaire^*

This solo war game simulates the British raid on the Nazi-occupied French port of St. Nazaire on March 28, 1942. Players maneuver British boats and the destroyer HMS Campbeltown, disguised as a German ship, to their landing spots while determining the outcomes of attacks from port defense guns. After landing, the remaining troops aim to reach and destroy targets such as naval installations and supply tanks. German guards are controlled by the game system, arriving and moving towards the nearest British command, with their effectiveness increasing as the game progresses. The game ends when all British units are killed or retreat, scoring points for the destroyed targets.
