On the hill of Al-Sabika in Granada, the Nasrid dynasty built one of history's most impressive structures, the Alhambra. Players take on the role of a Nasrid noble contributing to the construction of this ancient monument and must also establish trade routes through Europe and the Maghreb to earn the income needed to pay tributes demanded by the Catholic Monarchs. The game features an innovative mechanism that integrates three interconnected rondelles, each focusing on different scenarios related to the Alhambra's construction, poetry carving, and trade, culminating in a competition for prestige points over five rounds.
