Small Star Empires*

Small Star Empires is a fast-paced area control game for 2-4 players. Players colonize the galaxy with their ships, moving them on a modular game board made of hexagonal spaces. Each game features a different map thanks to seven double-sided sector tiles, allowing for varied experiences.

During their turn, a player moves one of their ships in a straight line, avoiding systems controlled by others. After moving, they may place a colony or a trade station in that system, marking control until the end of the game. The game concludes when all players have placed their pieces or when no ships can move due to blockages. Points are then tallied based on the number of planets and additional bonuses from special systems. The player with the most points wins.
