Sweet Shade^*

Sweet Shade is a short dice game from HABA for young Halloween fans aged 5 and up: two to six children hunt for hidden candy and watch out for black cats.

What's it about?

Mister Vampire has hidden all the candy, and the children go looking for it. Finding the right sweet moves you one step along the path. That sounds harmless, but the black cats add the tension. When the third cat lands behind the vampire, he raises his head to see who has been unlucky.

How it plays

1. Roll the die and search for the matching candy.
2. Move one step along the path whenever you find it.
3. Keep an eye out as the black cats gather behind the vampire.
4. Carry on until someone reaches the last space.

The game also ends if only one child is left, and that child wins too.

Who is it for?

A round takes just about 10 minutes, which makes it handy for kids' parties or a quick game before dinner. The spooky theme naturally makes it a Halloween pick. Dmitrijus Babičius designed it.
