Taikyoku Shogi*

Taikyoku Shōgi is a large board variant of Shogi, developed in the mid-16th century. Players control one set of 402 wedge-shaped pieces across a 36x36 grid. The objective is to capture the opponent's king and crown prince, as well as an additional piece called the "Drunken Elephant," which can become another crown prince upon promotion.
