Players must get rid of both cards and chips to win the game. Each player starts with a random hand of cards and a few chips. On their turn, players can either play cards to the center or return two chips to the supply.

The first player lays down one or more cards of the same value and can use chips to modify their value. To play further cards, a pair of nines or a higher pair must be played. The first player to have no cards or chips left wins the game.
