L.A.M.A. Kadabra^*

L.A.M.A. Kadabra is a fast card-shedding game by Reiner Knizia and an evolution of the well-known L.A.M.A. The goal is to collect as few penalty points as possible by cleverly playing your cards or quitting in time. A breezy filler that extends the familiar idea with new, trickier decisions.

For 2-6 players ages 8+, about 20 minutes, best with five. You play cards matching the top number or one higher, with llama cards and the 1 forming a loop; instead of playing you may draw or quit. Added here are double cards, action cards, plus the magic chip and the magic show, which bring extra tactical twists. A good fit for families and casual players who enjoy a light, fun shedding game.
