Urbania's city center gained fame in the past, but the future demands renewal. Players build a new city on the old foundations, driving progress by transforming the remnants into profit. They renew buildings and hire specialists while striving to meet the goals set in their submitted projects.

During their turn, players can perform 2 actions from a set of 4, including drawing cards, renewing a building, hiring a specialist, or submitting a project. Scoring occurs through building renewals, controlling specialists at the end of the turn, and earning points from project cards at the game’s end based on specific criteria.
