In 3000 BC, Uruk was the largest walled city in the world. Players build a civilization along the Euphrates, starting with simple structures like mud huts and progressing to advanced inventions such as aqueducts. There is no military component; players must manage resources and cards while avoiding disasters and seeking the favor of Sumerian gods, with the game ending when the player with the most points after the fourth era is declared the winner.
