Players expand their farm using tiles and perform actions in town over eight years. Each year is divided into spring, summer, autumn, and winter, where players add tiles in spring, gather resources in summer, visit the town in autumn, and feed their workers in winter.

The game features elements of tile placement and farm management, allowing players to enhance their farms by hiring more workers and building improvements. Players must carefully plan their actions as each town visit is limited to one per year, creating a strategic balance between action and resource management.
