BITS^*

BITS is a tile-laying game from Reiner Knizia for 1 to 4 players, where everyone arranges domino tiles on their own board at the same time.

What's it about?

BITS is the successor to Knizia's FITS. Each player has their own board and adds colorful tiles round by round. Task cards set which shapes and color groups score points. The game runs over three rounds.

How it plays

A round goes like this:

1. Reveal a shared task card.
2. Draw your random starting tile and place it.
3. Take each revealed tile and slide it in from the top.
4. Score your shapes and groups at the round's end.

What scores points?

The task cards steer every game:

• Matching shapes and color groups earn points
• Poor placement can cost you points
• An optional fourth round is available

Conclusion

BITS is an approachable puzzle with solo rules and good replay value. Families and puzzlers like the quick pressure. If you want interaction, there is little here, since everyone plays on their own.
