Café^*

Café is a compact card game from HUCH! in which you run a Portuguese coffee company and build the supply chain from plantation to coffee house. For 1 to 4 players aged 8 and up, playable in 20 to 45 minutes – and despite its small box a real puzzle for tinkerers.

How it plays

You lay cards overlapping in your display so that only certain spaces stay visible: plantations, drying, roasting and distribution. Depending on what remains visible you produce coffee, process it further and deliver it to cafés. Every card is a trade-off: what do I cover, what stays open, and which delivery contracts can I still fulfil?

Who is it for?

Anyone who enjoys demanding tile-laying puzzles but has little space and time. Café also plays superbly solo, and with its historical backstory about Brazilian coffee it makes a lovely gift for coffee drinkers.
