In medieval Italy, building castles at attractive locations is crucial, but other lords vie for power as well. Players gradually expand their influence and gather resources, using a grid-based board that alternates between production areas and tile spaces. Players can rotate tiles to affect resource distribution, ultimately aiming to score victory points by strategically constructing castles. The game includes two expansions, "Dilemma" and "Battle," which add complexity and duration, as well as materials for a tournament format allowing four players to compete simultaneously in pairs.
